Aosta, February 4 2011_Temerari elevation, trail enthusiasts and endurance trail, virtuosi of backpackers, it's official: 11 to 18 September 2011 will take place along the high routes number 1 and 2 of the Valle d'Aosta Tor des Géants: the world's toughest ultramarathon.
The first trail endurance of the hills in a single step that runs the entire region is characterized by 330 km of mountain trails, 24,000 feet of elevation gain, 34 municipalities involved, 25 packages in excess of 2,000 meters, 30 Alpine lakes, two nature reserves, from 300 to 3,300 meters above sea level, 7 bases life, 43 eateries, a true test of strength for mountain lovers.
Much more than just running outdoors: a real journey of discovery and search of the highest peaks of Europe (Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, Monte Rosa and Matterhorn), real personal adventure for All competitors is based on a shared passion for a sport, with moments of solidarity, which are part of the race.
