A literary competition dedicated to the "Town of Castle", born from an intuition of the publisher and accepted with Edimond great enthusiasm by the local authority, that the first edition has seen considerable attention in the national literary scene. The primary objective is to promote the search for new literary talents that often go unrecognized or suffocated by the big structure: the prize for the first three works teams in each section, consists in the publication of the work and therefore in the opportunity to present itself in the national literary scene. Of no less importance is to achieve wide-ranging action aimed at promoting and cultural development of Citta di Castello. The great interest in terms of entered works that could be observed in the first edition are that the certificate of appreciation throughout the Italian territory was manifested against the initiative, thanks to the prestige and the scientific rigor of the selection panel chaired by President Alessandro Quasimodo. The jury is completed by Aldo Scissors, writer and journalist and host of the Radio Rai Mix, Alessandro Masi, Secretary General of the Società Dante Alighieri, Albert Stramaccioni professor of contemporary history at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, and writer Giovanni Bogani and critical. The success of the first edition can only be a stimulus to improve the project and make it more a reference point for young and new writers, literary universe of large potential demand space and visibility.
