Yesterday I took part with the whole family to the event on the Piazza del Popolo and to reach the square I use public transport as usual.
We left at 13:00 Garbatella the station and arrived at its destination at 14.30.
Although everyone expected a large turnout of citizens, the impression I got was that Rome was not at all prepared to accept what later proved to be a huge crowd.
The metro to Termini, Vittorio Emanuele were filled up to capacity, the demonstrators who wanted to reach the rally were added, in fact, citizens directly in the center for their usual Sunday walk, all with detrimental effects to say the least, the word cattle car echoed among the people.
Having children to follow, we opted for a path to the surface to avoid the crowd and we used three buses. The wait at Piazza Fiume to take a bus that looked like a freight car was 25 minutes.
arrived in the square Flaminio was seeing the incredible staging and well hidden in a small number of police vans, and especially not a policeman! Meanwhile, the Muro Torto was completely blocked and the bus lane overrun by pedestrians but no security.
a failure of organization. The absence of the slightest organization and the most basic security measures were so obvious that the participants there are those who foreshadowed the boycott, in fact, in my opinion, this assumption overestimates the current received at the Capitol and is only simple mediocrity!
E 'useless Alemanno on each bankruptcy discharges always blame on others: "The charge of not having well-established law and order in the Piazza del Popolo is an insult to the professionalism that is the capacity of the Rome Police and the Municipal Police," the responsibility is with no apology and instead the Mayor responds to any criticism with the usual refrain of "spurious allegations for political purposes."
Where was he yesterday? Make public, if any, any mobility plan yesterday. It was forecast to increase public transport trips and more policemen on the streets?
Alemanno If you are instead of whining, the liability, so that Rome and the Romans may ninth stop for a fantastic event on Sunday and announced several weeks.
